Eugene Morris Jerome is a young urban man from Brooklyn, who is sent to the US Army training center in Biloxi, Mississppi during the last year of World War ll in 1945. In his new ‘’home’’ , Eugene is introduced to live with a diverse group of young recruits, a Biloxi beauty, and a local prositude.
