Hiccup was born and grows up in an island which has a tradition of killing dragons and he also wants to hunt a dragon to proof himself with his father and others. One time, by accident, he helps a young dragon who he named Toothless and they become friends. After that, Hiccup changes his desire from hunting dragons to training them, and Toothless gives him more assistance with his new aspiration.
