The story of an assistant manager - Jason (Allen Payne) who must suffer his insecurity from psychology disorder about love. He falls ahead over heels with Lyric (Jada Pinkett Smith) and finds happiness; however his family issues and mentally ill war veteran father, Maddog (Forest Whitaker) prevents his life's plans.
