This film is about the effort of Joe Clark or "Crazy Joe" - a principal of Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey, in reviving the school being deteriorated by drugs and poverty. Clark immediately effects radical changes by expelling 300 students identified as drug dealers or abusers and troublemakers and instituting programs to improve school spirit...Beside positive effects, he also faces up with a lot of difficulties, even being arrested. Can Clark overcome and his effort become fruitful?
