The film follows the story of 118-year-old Nemo Nobody in 2092 who can be regarded as the last mortal on Earth after the human race has reached quasi-immortality, narrate his life story to a reporter. Nemo, with a fading memory, refers to his three milestones in his life: at age nine, fifteen, and thirty-four. But the story seems confusing as he tells of alternate life paths, often changing course with the flick of a decision at each of those ages.
