The film is about a soldier Robbins who is convicted for a murder of his commander and moved to the prision island, where he is left to die. The island is totally isolated with the outside world so the prision manager makes an island playground called "Absolom" in which the prisioners are free to kill themselves and the law belongs to the strongest men.
