At the beginning of this 2nd part, Henry has sold the pharmacy to a chain store and retired. Denise and Jerry have married and moved to Houston, Texas, where they have started a family. Visiting Crosby, they stop by the Kitteridges' home for coffee. Jerry has become smug and extremely critical of Denise.
