Ash, Brock, May and Max go on a trip to a festival where they meet the magician Butler. Butler introduces them to Jirachi, a wish-grantin Pokemon who emerges when the Millennium Comet appears. Butler tries to use Jirachi's power to resurrect the legendary Pokémon Groudon but unfortunately ends up creating a monster, and now Ash and his friends have to defeat it to save Earth and all living creatures.
