When Ash Ketchem, Brock, Max and May are about to join a special tournament staged for Prince Aaron, but as Ash Ketchem, Pikachu is abducted and brought to the Tree of Beginnings by the evil Mew. To rescue Pikachu, Ash and his friends are guided to the tree by Prince Aaron's Pokemon friend Lucario and try to defeat Mew in an explosive battle.
