Set in the time of Christ, the film is about Marcellus, a contemporary tribune. He is the leader of the group that assigned to crucify Jesus. Surprisingly, he wins Jesus’s homespun robe after the crucifixion when he was drunk. After that, he is continuously obsessed with nightmares and delusions.
