The Siege of Firebase Gloria (Also Known As: The Firebase ) is an Action Drama film directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith and written by William L. Nagle (as William Nagle), Tony Johnston. It released on 27 January 1989 (USA). The film stars Wings Hauser, R. Lee Ermey, Robert Arevalo. A tough sergeant and his sidekick roll into a demoralized firebase and proceed to rebuild morale and fortifications in advance of the climactic battle with the VietCong.
